9 Activities in Iceland that Will Leave You Awestruck
When most people think of Iceland, they have visions of shining glaciers coupled with freezing temperatures. While that is true much of the year, Iceland has much more to offer visitors than just an excuse to break out your heavy coat. In fact, it can be much more temperate than one might expect. Even though it’s just 40km south of the Arctic Circle, the North Atlantic current keeps the island ‘reasonably temperate’ for a destination so far north.

So what’s the one site or thing you must absolutely see when visiting Madrid? What’s the main attraction or the one site to visit? Paris has the Eiffel Tower. Tourists flock to Agra to visit the Taj Mahal. You’d be crazy to skip the Colosseum while traveling through Rome. Athens has Acropolis. Rio de Janeiro is Cristo Redentor. New York’s Statue of Liberty. What’s my point? That every city has it’s main attraction! Well, not all, but many do. Now that I’m working at a hostel in Madrid to improve my Spanish, a task I’m deciding my not be possible, it’s a question we get often.
New Delhi Arrival & City Walk
India is almost exactly as the guidebooks and travel blogs describe it: an assault on the senses. The congestion in New Delhi was intense. Between all the motorcycles and rickshaws speeding by, the potholes in the unkept roads, the waste on the streets, the vendors and hoards of people walking by them and the roaming cows among everything, it’s all you can do to walk a block without going down in the masses.
We were told that Prague is a beautiful city and I am pleased that I can confirm that. After skipping out on sightseeing in Berlin, we decided to be super tourists in Prague to make up for it. We checked out the Prague Castle, Old Town Square, the City of Prague Museum and enjoyed some beers at U Medvidku, a 550 year old brewery.
