If you love history, a visit to Rome is a necessity. Take in the famous Colosseum during your visit to the Eternal City, and the ancient Villa Dei Quintili. Stonehenge, England

Stonehenge is a one of a kind stop everyone should come to admire. Stonehenge offers a look into some of the more mysterious parts of history, as its exact purpose is still greatly debated. A recognized wonder of the world, it is one of the best known prehistoric monuments on the continent. Lake Como, Italy

Lake Como, one of Italy’s most famous lakes, is a sight to behold. The location gives a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape, making it a popular destination for locals and tourists alike. The surrounding towns have an old-world charm, making it a pleasure to meander through the streets at your leisure. You can easily visit Lake Como as part of a day trip from Milan. Barcelona, Spain

Barcelona offers and ideal mix of history, architecture, beaches, and gay nightlife – all supported by the warm climate. Considered a capital of Modernism, you can visit the monuments built by famous designer Antoni Gaudi before stopping in at the classic gothic Cathedral and the Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar. Gastronomy is another popular reason for selecting Barcelona as a destination. Catalan and Spanish cuisine at its finest is available throughout the city, so stop in for some tapas while you are out and about. Stockholm, Sweden

Iceland
